| This is a modification from the standard EB-6 for 6" wafer or EB-8 for 8" wafer.The reason whywe use EB series is platen with fixed height can be loaded with heavier tuner,heavy-duty micropositioner(specific for tuner) & tuner holding plate.Most of cases,we modify for tuner manufactured like Focus Microwave and Murry.Because their tuner is too large to put onto the platen of standard probe station.It allow the customer to make thepower measurement on wafer format and test fixture as well.The east & west port are availablefor RF.The north & south are available for multi-contact wedge DC measurement.Olympus Stereo microscope |  |
| with coaxial lite magnify from 30X~189X.In addition to microscope X-Y stage,it is built withpneumatic Z traveling 60mm for easy RF head replacement & test fixture setup.For the couples of attenuators,we provide the customer with holders to prevent the cable from misalignment from the center.If the customer do not have the budget to buy the new probe station,we can consider to modify the customer's existing probe station.When the customer place the order to EB,they have to provide EB with the physical dimension and bottom hole spec. for the tuners.If possible,local rep. will visit the customer to check these dimension and bottom hole spec.. | |
| There are two kinds of tuner mounting as explained as follows: | |
| A. The probe head with rigid arm mounted onto the tuner ,sometimes,fundamental and harmonic tuners in combination at the same time.All the parts placed on the tuner holding plate can be positioned by the heavy-duty micropositioner in order to silmutaneously land the tip onto wafer.The other ends of both of the tuners holding plate is supported by a height- adjustablelegs for the plate leveling purpose.In order to be silmultaneous movement as the micropositioner,both of the bottoms of the legs are built with X-Y slide for the free movement. |  |
| B. The tuners(fundamental and harmonic) holding plate
are fixed on the the U-shaped platen. There should be flexible cable
between tuner and RF head hooked onto the RF micropositioner.Because
it is a flexible cable,the RF head while been positioned by micropositioner will not restrained by the flexible cable. |

and in specifying and providing complete testing solutions.
On-wafer measurement setups often incorporate automatic tuners to permit rapid load and source pull, facilitating quick and accurate device characterization and modelling, particularly for large signal devices, and noise parameter determination. Everbeing can provide expert engineering support in the integration of our Probe Station models with the Automatic Tuner Systems made by companies such as Maury Microwave and Focus Microwaves. The services we can provide include: system design; RF and mechanical specification; assistance with a System Design Specification (SDS) or other system documentation; test and integration; and the provision of mechanical support structures and adaptors. Automatic Tuner System (ATS) Integrated Packages Everbeing can provide two integrated package configurations. In the Advanced System Design and Integration (ASDI) package, Everbeing would provide system specification and documentation, coordinate and lead factory and on-site integration and testing, and provide system warranty work. A full turnkey package would include the ASDI services, the probe
station, the ATS, and (optionally) other major equipment. |
